What type of trail surface <br />do you prefer? <br />Other <br />1% <br />FIGURE 11 <br />This survey information also shows a <br />lack of public transportation options <br />that provide stops and/or service to <br />regional parks and trails systems. <br />Going forward, the Parks and <br />Recreation Department will work <br />closely with the County Transit <br />Department, the County's <br />Transportation Management <br />Organization and the Metropolitan <br />Council to find solutions to increase <br />transit access to the regional parks <br />and trails. <br />The Department also surveyed <br />participants about safety in the parks <br />and whether they feel safe when they <br />are in the parks. Resoundingly, 91% <br />said yes, they feel safe. Refer to Figure 24.
