Regular Planning Commission <br />Meeting Date: 04/06/2017 <br />By: Tim Gladhill, Community Development <br />5. 7. <br />Information <br />Title: <br />Review Oakwood Development Concept (Levin Property) <br />Purpose/Background: <br />The purpose of this case is to review a concept proposed by Oakwood Development for a property north of Estates <br />of Silver Oaks located along Highway 47. This is for presentation and discussion only. Staff has not completed an <br />official review. This project would require a Comprehensive Plan Amendment to expand the Metropolitan Urban <br />Service Area (MUSA). Staff is awaiting final decision by the Metropolitan Council on two similar amendments <br />(Brookfield 8th Addition; Woodlands 4th Addition) to see how that might impact this request. <br />Notification: <br />Notification has not been provided. <br />Observations/Alternatives: <br />This is an opportunity for Oakwood Development to present to the Planning Commission prior to an official <br />submittal and discuss key sticking points.
