Regional Park Search Areas <br />The 2030 Regional Parks Policy Plan, updated in 2010, identified six regional park search areas in the <br />region. Two of the search areas, one in Dakota County and one in Scott County, have been planned, <br />acquired, developed, and are now open to the public as Whitetail Woods Regional Park and Cedar <br />Lake Farm Regional Park, respectively. Another search area has been shaped into the planned <br />Blakeley Bluffs Park Reserve, for which Scott County has been acquiring land. <br />Three regional park search areas, totaling approximately 1,700 acres remain, which are described in <br />Table 3-8. Figure 3-8 shows a map of the regional park boundary adjustment and regional park search <br />areas. <br />Table 3-8.
