In <br />early April, the bill had not made it out of the House's Planning & <br />Development Committee. <br />S ource: Darien Times; wwwdarientiines.com <br />ILLINOIS <br />In early April, the State Senate passed House Bill 1133, "which would <br />prevent local government from banning the Airbnb-style [short-term <br />rental] businesses, [and] would give municipalities the ability to require <br />short-term rental hosts to pay [up to $200 annually] for a permit in or- <br />der to host guests."
