Councilmember Kurak introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION//04-08-206 RESOLUTION APPROVING 2m) AND FINAL PAYMENT TO NORTH COUNTRY CONCRETE FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT /103-28 (145TM LANE/146TM AVENUE SJI) WALK) WHEREAS, on February 24, 2004, City Council adopted Resolution #04-02-060 approving the plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski inspected the completed work and recommended 1st partial payment to North Country Concrete in the amount of $63,914.27. WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski inspected the completed work and recommended 2nd and Final payment to North Country Concrete in the amount of $4,751.71. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes 2nd and final payment to North Country Concrete for Improvement Project #03-28, 145th Lane/146th Avenue Sidewalk Project in the amount of $4,751.71 on August 10, 2004. 2) That the City Council authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of August 2004. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Cook and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Kurak Councilmember Cook Councilmember Elvig Councilmember Strommen Councilmember Zimmerman and the following voted against the same: none RESOLUTION #04-08-206 Page 1 of 1
