Councihnember Kurak introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #04-08-223 RESOLUTION APPROVING 3RD PARTIAL PAYMENT TO GLEN REHBEIN COMPANIES FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #03-29 (SUNWOOD DRIVE NW AND RHINESTONE STREET NW) WHEREAS, on March 9, 2004, City Council adopted Resolution #04-03-066 approving the plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, Principal City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and recommended I st partial payment to Glenn Rehbein Companies in the amount of $375,198.93. WHEREAS, Principal City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and recommended 2nd partial payment to Glenn Rehbein Companies in the amount of $609,993.05. WHEREAS, Principal City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and recommended 3r~ partial payment to Glenn Rehbein Companies in the amount of $576,964.93. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes 3rd partial payment to Glenn Rehbein Companies for Improvement Project #03-29, Sunwood Drive NW and Rhinestone Street NW in the amount of $576,964.93 on August 24, 2004. 2) That the City Council authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of August 2004. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zimmennan and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Kurak Councilmember Zimmerman Councilmember Cook Councilmember Elvig Councilmember Zimmerman and the following voted against the same: RESOLUTION #04-08-223 Page 1 of 2
