General Governmental Functions Revenues for general governmental functions totaled $1,013,024 in 1981, an increase of 30.9 percent over 1980. General property taxes produced 63.3 percent of general revenues compared to 63.2 percent last year. This increase is less than the average increase per year of 15 percent from 1975 to 1980. Current tax collections were 93.3 percent of the tax levy, down 2.7 percent from last year. The ratio of total collections (current and delinquent) to the current tax levy was 95.5 percent, a decrease of 2 percent from last year. The decrease is due primarily to the fact that Intergovernmental Revenues (pri- marily State aids) are not growing as quickly as the need for revenues. Expenditures for all general governmental functions totaled $790,831 in 1981, an increase of 15.7 percent over 1980.
