Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-10-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE APPROVAL OF ALPINE PARK'S DISCOVERY <br />GARDEN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ramsey City Council recognizes the importance of Parks, Open Space and <br />Recreation to the quality of life for Ramsey residents; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Alpine Park is intended to serve these needs as both a Community Park and <br />as a neighborhood resource; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Community and Neighborhood Parks require areas for play and physical <br />development of children; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Alpine Park's Discovery Garden will meet these needs, and be unique <br />recreational and educational resource for the entire community; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />That, up to one hundred and seventeen thousand and eight dollars ($117,008), are hereby <br />allocated from the Park Trust Fund to provide landscape and recreational improvements known <br />as the Alpine Park Discovery Garden. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember, <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 26th day of October, 2004. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-10-XXX <br /> Page 1 of 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
