Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 04-10- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPRAISAL OF DAMAGES FOR THE ACQUISITION OF <br />PERMANENT EASEMENTS FOR STREET, DRAINAGE AND UTILITY PURPOSES FOR <br />THE EXTENSION OF 160TM LANE NW <br /> <br /> WHERAS, pursuant to its Resolution 04-08-217, the City Council authorized the commencement <br />of an eminent domain action for acquisition of, permanent easements as described on the attached <br />EXHIBIT A (the "Subject Property"); and <br /> <br /> WIIEREAS, the owners of the Subject Property have been identified as shown on the attached <br />EXHIBIT A. The purpose of the acquisition is to acquire from the owners the permanent easements <br />necessary lbr the of the extension of 160th Lane NW; and <br /> <br /> WItEREAS, as a part of the condemnation action the City authorized that the Subject Property be <br />appraised to determine the damages incurred by the owners as a result of the taking by the City of the <br />permanent casements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City's appraiser has completed an appraisal of the Subject Property. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOIC4~ COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby approves the appraisal of value of the Subject Property in the <br />amount of $19,700.00 for parcel 1, (the Kaas parcel) and $15,100,00. for parcel 2, (the Dusbabek <br />parcel). <br /> <br />That pursuant to Minn. Stat. §117.042, the City Attorney is authorized to deposit the appraised <br />amount with the District Court Administrator or to pay said amount directly to the owners of the <br />Subject Property. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and thc followi~,g voted against the same: <br /> <br />and thc £ollowing abstained: <br /> <br /> <br />
