9.02 Definitions <br /> <br />Fence, ornamental - A lbnce not greater than six (6) feet in height that is <br />constructed from aluminum, wrought iron or steel, with pickets no ~reater <br />than two (2) inches in width and no less than four (4) inches apart. Vertical <br />s_'~pport posts shall not exceed six (6) inches in width and shall be spaced a <br />minimum ot' four (4) feet apart. Horizontal frmning crosspieces shall not <br />exceed three (3) inches in width. No other material shall obstruct visibility <br /> <br />throu_g!3_ the t'ence. Chainlink fences are specifically excluded from this <br />detinition. <br /> <br />9.20.11 R-I Residential District <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. Intent. The intent of this district is to accommodate <br />single family dwelling units on suitable land in the 2020 Metropolitan Urban Service <br />Area (MUSA), rural developing, central rural reserve area, and rural preserve areas of the <br />City. All newly created lots, except the remnant of a lot of record not less than five (5) <br />acres in size and located within the 2020 MUSA, shall be serviced by sanitary sewer and <br />municipal water. All developing lots located within the rural preserve, rural developing <br />and central rural preserve areas shall be served with individual septic systems and wells. <br /> <br />Subd. 2. Permitted Uses <br /> <br />a. Single Family detached dwellings <br /> <br />Agriculture, excluding the raising of livestock, poultry, and fowl <br />within the MUSA boundary unless compliance with Ramsey City <br />Code Chapter 5 (Animal and Fowl) can be maintained. <br /> <br />c. Public parks, Municipal Fire Station. <br /> <br />Single Family/Townhome units as part of a PUD located within the <br />2020 MUSA. PUD's shall be designed in accordance with R-2 <br />Residential per[bnnance standards established in Section 9.20.12. <br /> <br />e. State Licensed group homes in accordance with State Statute. <br /> <br />f. Licensed home daycares in accordance with State Statute. <br /> <br />g. Noncommercial horseboarding. <br /> <br />h. Home Occupations as permitted by City Code Section 9.11.04. <br /> <br /> <br />
