55. Grading. Final slope grades shall not exceed 3.5:1 unless terracing <br /> of retaining walls are approved. Berming for parking lots and open <br /> space areas shall not exceed a slope of 3:1. <br /> <br /> Required Ground Cover. Lawns are required for all residential <br /> developments and shall be installed with sod, seed, natural ground <br /> cover, or native grasses and wild flowers in the R- 1 Residential <br /> District within one (1) year of the date the certificate of occupancy <br /> for the principal building was issued. Noxious weeds do not <br /> constitute allowed ground cover in any district. <br /> <br />fd. Lighting. <br /> <br /> 1. Lighting used to illuminate an off-street parking area, sign or <br /> structure, shall be arranged to deflect light away from adjacent <br /> residential districts or public streets. Bulbs emitting in excess of <br /> 3000 lumens (150 watts) shall be directed so that the bulb is not <br /> visible from off the property where the light source is located. <br /> <br /> Exterior Building Materials. <br /> <br /> 1.
