<br />Councilmember Kuzma introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #17-05-118 <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING <br />ADVERTISEMENTS FOR BIDS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #17-00, 2017 <br />CRACKSEAL AND SEALCOAT IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS <br />, the City of Ramsey adopted a budget for 2017 including $500,000 to <br />crackseal and sealcoat various public streets as part of the City’s annual Street Maintenance <br />Program; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the City Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the purpose of <br />advertising for bids for the same improvements. <br /> <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1) The City Council hereby approves final plans and specifications as prepared by the City <br />Engineer with reference to Improvement Project #17-00, 2017 Crackseal and Sealcoat <br />Improvements, and authorizes the advertisement of bids for the same improvements. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Johns, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Shryock <br /> Councilmember Williams <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
