I I I I PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL CONTINUATION OF REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA A meeting of the Ramsey City Council was called to order by Mayor Gamec at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota at 7:35 P.M., October 28, 1981. The purpose of this meeting was to resume Council business on the October 27, 1981 agenda. I I I I Members Present: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Van Wagner Councilmember Sorteberg Councilmember Reimann Councilmember Cox Also Present: City Administrator Schnelle City Accountant Jeanne Moen Building Official Berg Chief of Police Auspos Mayor Gamec led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. I I I I I I COUNCIL OLD BUSINESS Case #3 - Engineering Price Quotes on Paving City Hall Lower Parking Area: City Engineer Raatikka informed Council of a bid that was not included with other bids recorded in his letter of October 22, 1981, to City Council. The bid was for $11,458 from United Asphalt. Councilmember Cox stated he felt the parking lot is not a necessary expense at this time since the lower level of the Municipal Center is not finished. Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to table any action regarding paving the lower level parking lot at the Ramsey Muni- cipal Center. Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg Reimann and Cox. Voting no None. Case #6 - Revenue Sharing Budget, 1982; City Budget, 1982; and Capital Pro- ~ram Budget for Council Action: Mayor Gamec summarized the 1982 budget changes and/or additions over the 1981 budget. He also reviewed the supplements to the budget. Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to direct Councilmembers Reimann and Sorteberg to pursue possibility of pur- chasing approximately five acres of land for future municipality use. Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg Reimann and Cox. Voting no None. C/October 28, 1981
