Bowers Drive
Councilmember Reimann noted that the phrase "as presently travelled", in the
future will be referred to as "true center-of-the road." He stated that
after chaos on previous projects, City has decided to adopt an ordinance to
deal with "true center-of-the road."

Gary Jarvi - 14260 Bowers Drive - Least expense and least amount of destruction
should be reason to stay with "as presently travelled."

Roger Larson - 14730 Bowers Drive - The road as presently travelled isn't
off that much and we would prefer the improvements be done as the road lays
now.

Councilmember Sorteberg feels that because of the wording in the petition
(as presently travelled), some citizens who signed might be misled, therefore
this petition might not suffice.

Mrs. Trushenski - 14533 Bowers Drive - Most of the people were hoping the
street would be paved as presently travelled, but they will have a chance
to voice their opinion at the public hearing.

C/April 27, 1982
Page 7
