Mr. Erickson is to get staff a mailing list. <br /> <br />LETTERS AND COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />A letter was presented from St. Timothy's Church on rental property in <br />Ramseyo <br /> <br />The Council is requesting a letter be sent to Mr. Ed Fields thanking him for <br />all the work he has done for Ramsey. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />PERSONNEL RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman'Reimann to hire <br />Sheila Beyer as recording secretary for the Council at a rate of $45.00 per <br />meeting and minutes be done on her own time. <br /> <br />5 ayes <br />Motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by C~uncilman Gamec and seconded by Councilman Muller to take <br />Accountant Jeanne Moen offprobation and place her on permanent status with <br />no increase in pay. <br /> <br />5 ayes <br />Motion carried <br /> <br />REZONING REQUEST, DR. T. W. ANDERSON <br /> <br />Mayor Cox read the Planning and Zoning recommendations from their'August 28, <br />1978 meeting. It was the general concensus of the Council that the Planning <br />Commission did not make reference as to how the granting of this rezoning re- <br />quest will affect the Comprehensive Plan and the overall planning. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Gamec to send the <br />request back to Planning and Zoning for their reconsideration and that the <br />City Staff is to prepare a report for Planning and Zoning on this request. <br /> <br />5 ayes <br />Motion carried <br /> <br />PLAYING FIELDS; REGARDING SOFTBALL FIELDS, ETC. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka read his report on the ball fields.
