Councilmember Kurak questioned if the City possesses record of title on the prope~nty. <br /> <br />Public Works Director Kapler replied Assistant Public Works Director Olson wrote this case and <br />he is out of town. He suggested the motion be made contingent on the City possessing the proper <br />title work. <br /> <br />Motion by Councihnember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to approve Resolution <br />#04-09-274, awarding Project #04-21, Construction of Municipal Well #6, to the lowest <br />responsible bidder, E.H. Rennet & Sons, contingent on the CiW possessing the proper tide xvork. <br /> <br />Morion came& Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Kurak, Cook, Elvig, Pearson, <br />Strommen, and Zimmen~nan. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case <br /> <br />Receive Bids and Award Contract for Improvement Project #04-31, <br />Construction of Watermain Associated with Municipal Well #6 <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski advised two bids were received for Improvement Project #04-31, as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Bidder <br />W.B. Miller, [nc. <br />Dave Perkins Contracting, Inc. <br /> <br />Amount of Bid <br /> <br />$85,942.50 <br />$101,285.00 <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski advised staff recommends awarding the contract to W.B. Miller, ~[nc. in <br />the amount of $85;94.50. <br /> <br />Motion by Councihnember Kurak, seconded by Councihnember Cook, to approve ResOlution <br />#04-09-275, awarding Project #04-31, Construction of Waten:nain associated with Well #6, to <br />the lowest responsible bidder, W.B. Miller, Inc., contingent on the City possessing the proper <br />title work. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Kurak, Cook, Elvig, Pearson, <br />Strommen, and Zimmennan. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #16: <br /> <br />Authorize Signature for Trunk Highway #10 Grant (Consent Agenda Item <br />#35) <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to authorize <br />signature for Trunk Highway #10 Grant. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Elvig requested discussion for the residents regarding this <br />grant. City Administrator Norman indicated this is the ~-ant request for the construction of the <br />interchanges at An~nstrong Boulevard, Sunfish Lake Boulevard and Ramsey Boulevard. <br />Councilmember Strommen noted this is for the $200,000 for fiscal year 2004, and they still have <br /> <br />City Council/September 13, 2004 <br /> Page 25 of 29 <br /> <br />P49 <br /> <br /> <br />
