Bills and Current Services Rendered <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec closed the regular portion of the City, Council meeting at 7:14 p.m. in order to <br />conduct a public hearing. <br /> <br />Pubhc Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:14 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Finance Officer Lund explained this is the eighth year that the City of Ramsey will be certifying <br />delinquent payments as assessments to be collected with property taxes payabl~ in 2005. With <br />the exception of two, all of the payments are related to utility bills; the majority of them are from <br />property owners that have moved into a home with a previous bill that was unpaid. These <br />property owriers are responsible for these bills. Any payments received after September 28, <br />2004, and tt~'ough November 5, 2004, will be indicated as "prepaid" when the list is transmitted <br />to Anoka County for certification. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to close the public <br />hea~-ing. <br /> <br />Motion camed. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, 'Councih'nembers Cook, Pearson, Elvig, Kurak, <br />Strommen, and Zimmennan.
