TO: City Administrator

FROM: Building Official

RE: Assessment for Vacant Lot

DATE: ~arch 18, 1980

On March 17, 1980, Lester Wirz receiyed a call from a Mr~ Bray at 26411
Olivine Street N~W. in regards to whether or not the lot he owns just
south of his residence was buildable or not. His interest is in having
the special assessment removed.

I have viewed the lot and found it very similar to the one in question on
162nd Lane N.W. as it would also require a considerable amount of fill
but would still contain adequate unfilled-u~ndisturbed areas for an on-.
site spetic system. Therefore, I feel it should be considered as a build-~
able site.

Neither of these parcels compare to the lots owned by Mrs. Smith On 166th
Avenue N.W. as they do not have the high water table problem that ~s.
Smith has.

If, however, the council feels that development costs are a consideration
for a lots suitability for development~ it would be my rec0mmenda%ion that
these two individuals do the fo]lowing:

1) Incorporate the vacant parcel of land with the'parcel that their dwell~
ings are located on.

2) File said incorporation.with the County as a part of their deed.

3) Enter into an agreement that the City which Would require the payment
of the assessment prior to. any consideration of the resubdivision of the
incorporated parcels.

CRB:sb f
