ORDINANCE NO, 79-4 <br /> <br />7~ENDME]~ I0 CHAFFER 170.01 SECTIONS 170. 014B AND 170. 0111 OF THE <br />CIYY OODE OF RA~EY, MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />AN ORDI~i~NCE AMEND]]XX~ CHAPTER 170.01 ENTIT].KD ZONI]gG AND SPECIFICALLY <br />7~_]~DING SECTIONS 170.014B AND 170.0111 ENTITLED "ACCESSORY USES AND <br />DEF]]qTiONS" RESPECfIVELY. <br /> <br />7he tit7 Council of the City of Ramsey does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Chapter 170.0!4B of the City Code of Ramsey, Minnesota is hereby <br />~r~ded by the following additional paragraphs: <br /> <br />'5) Ail accessory buildings shall have a design and outside <br />facing finish which is compatible as determined-by the build- <br />Jng inspector with all other buildings located within 350' <br />of the accessory building. No single accessory building shall <br />be larger than 624 square, feet if<it is to be located on a <br />parcel of land two and one-half~(2~)-~cres~or less in siee, <br />and not larger than 1,200 squlmre feet if it %s to be located <br />on a parcel of land larger t_Ban t~o and one-half (2~) acres. <br />The combination of two (2) or more accessory buildings on a <br />.parcel of land ~ and one-half (2~) acres or less in size <br />shall not exceed a total square footage of 624 'and if located <br />on a parcel of land larger than two and one-half (2%~) acres <br />shall not exceed a total sq~mre footage of 1,200, <br /> <br />6) Any proposed accessory building shall be located on the <br />parcel of land so as to allow for orderly future resubdivision <br />of a parcel on ~nich the building is to be located. Prior to <br />issuance of a building .permit for the building, the applicant <br />shall provide the building inspector with a sketch plan showing <br />the location of the proposed building. '/he building inspector <br />shall not issua the permit if he determines the proposed loca- <br />tion will not allow for orfl~rly future resubdivision of the <br />parcel. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />The definition of Accessory BUilding in Section 170,0111 is hereby <br />~ended to read as follows: <br /> <br />1) "Accessory BuilJ~ng is any subordinate building or use cus- <br />tomarily incidental and subordinate to the principal use and <br />located on the same lot as the principal use. An attached <br />garage, or a detached garage where the dwelling does not have <br />~an ~attached garage, and ~hich :attached or cletached garage does <br /> <br /> <br />
