<br />Commission Business <br /> <br />Acting Chairperson Johnson called the regular meeting of the Planning Commission back to <br />order at 8:25 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Shepherd, seconded by Commissioner Watson, to request staff to <br />proceed with a justification report to the DNR for keeping it a recreational lake. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Acting Chairperson Johnson, Commissioners Shepherd, Watson, <br />Brauer, and Jeffrey. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Nixt and Commissioner Van Scoy. <br /> <br />Case #8: <br /> <br />Continuation of Public Hearing - Request to Rezone Certain Property from <br />R-2 Medium Density Residential to B-1 Business; Case of Arthur and <br />Elizabeth Raudio. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik stated on September 2, 2004, the Planning <br />Commission conducted public hearings regarding Arthur and Elizabeth Raudio's request for a <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendment and a rezoning to reclassify their property back to B-1 <br />Business from R-2 Residential. The subject property is Outlot E, River's Bend 3rd Addition. <br /> <br />On September 2, 2004, the Planning Commission adjourned the public hearing related to the <br />Comprehensive Plan amendment and continued any action on the request until September 16. <br />The public hearing relating to the rezoning request was continued to September 16, at which time <br />the applicant was to provide additional information. To date, City Staff has not received any <br />additional information from the Applicant and Staff anticipates that this matter will be resumed <br />at the regular meeting in November. <br /> <br />City Staff recommends continuing the rezoning public hearing to the November meeting of the <br />Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Commission Business <br /> <br />Acting Chairperson Johnson called the regular meeting of the Planning Commission back to <br />order at 8:26 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Jeffrey, seconded by Commissioner Shepherd, to continue the rezoning <br />public hearing to the November meeting of the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Motion Carried.
