(500 g) 30 Ib. 500 g <br />Sampling Locations for Air, Slump, Temperature and Cylinder Testing <br />(1) First Toad each day per mix - Take sample after discharging approximately 1/4 yd3, <br />stop further discharge until both slump and air content test are completed. The first load <br />of concrete must have passing air content and slump prior to placement. Cast strength <br />specimens from the same Toad as the air content and slump test. Test whenever <br />adjustments are made to the mix. <br />(2) Subsequent tests - Sample from the middle portion of the Toad. <br />Test Type Engineer Testing Rates ( 1 ) <br />Air Content - Type 1 test per 200 yd3. For Bridge Concrete: 1 test per 100 yd3. Test <br />3 Concrete first Toad each day per mix. Test when adjustments are made to the <br />(5-694.541) mix. <br />1 test per 200 yd3. For Bridge Concrete: 1 test per 100 yd3.
