For traffic signal and <br />street lighting projects, specific requirements are contained in the <br />Special Provisions for each project. <br />Visual Inspection - Manufacturer must have one yearly passing test <br />from the Department for each anchor rod or bolt type. Prior to <br />installation, obtain copy of Mn/DOT passing test report from supplier. <br />3385 Specs 3385.2 A, B, & C require anchor rod markings per ASTM F 1554 <br />S3. The end of each anchor bolt intended to project from the concrete <br />must be die stamped with the grade identification as follows: Grade 36 <br />= AB36, Grade 55 = AB55, Grade 105 = AB105. <br />Special <br />Provision <br />Visual Inspection - Check qualified products list. <br />Visual Inspection - Check approved products list. Will carry "Inspected" <br />tag if sampled and tested prior to shipment. No sample necessary if <br />"Inspected". Do not use if not tested. Field sample at sampling rate for <br />2545 laboratory testing. For traffic signal and street light lighting projects, <br />2565 various miscellaneous hardware is required to be listed on the Mn/DOT <br />Signals and Lighting Approved Products Lists (APL).
