• DVD's are to remain property of the Owner; Contractor to retain second copy. <br />• All flows tributary to reach of sewer being inspected are to be completely by-passed <br />around the reach during inspection if necessary and required by the Owner. <br />• Pre -construction video of the existing pipe and post construction video inspection upon <br />completion of reconstruction of each reach of pipe, with the voice description, with <br />stationing of services indicated. Data and stationing to be on video. <br />• Should any portion of the video inspection be of inadequate quality or coverage, as <br />determined by the Owner the Contractor will have the portion re -inspected and video <br />recorded at no additional expense to the Owner. <br />2641.9 METHOD OF MEASUREMENT <br />Measurement for pipe bursting shall be on a linear foot basis, to the nearest whole foot, <br />measured from center of manhole to center of manhole or junction point to junction point as <br />indicated on the plans. <br />2641.10 BASIS OF PAYMENT <br />Pipe Bursting: The work performed as prescribed by this item will be paid for by the linear foot <br />at the unit price bid for the pipe bursting/replacement at the specified pipe diameter and location <br />which price shall be full compensation for the installation of the new pipe, furnishing and placing <br />of all materials, labor, tools, equipment, cleaning, and preparation of the existing pipe to receive <br />the new pipe, tracer wire, pipe bedding, backfill material, annulus sealing material and launching <br />pits, and video inspection of final installed pipe, bypass pumping, temporary water distribution, <br />traffic control, sealing at manholes, locating, excavating, disconnecting, testing in accordance <br />with the Contract Documents, and all else incidental thereto for which separate payment is not <br />provided under other Items in the Bid Form. <br />Page 73 <br />
