SECTION 00800 - SUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONS <br />TO THE STANDARD GENERAL CONDITIONS <br />OF THE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT <br />SUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONS - GENERAL COMMENTS <br />These Supplementary Conditions amend or supplement the Standard General Conditions of the Construction Contract, <br />EJCDC° C-700 (2013 Edition). All provisions which are not so amended or supplemented remain in full force and effect. <br />The terms used in these Supplementary Conditions have the meanings stated in the General Conditions. Additional terms <br />used in these Supplementary Conditions have the meanings stated below, which are applicable to both the singular and <br />plural thereof. <br />The address system used in these Supplementary Conditions is the same as the address system used in the General <br />Conditions, with the prefix "SC" added thereto. <br />SC-4.03 REFERENCE POINTS <br />Delete Paragraph 4.03.A of the General Conditions in its entirety and insert the following Paragraph 4.03.A in its <br />place: <br />4.03.A. The OWNER will provide engineering surveys to establish reference points for construction as described in <br />Section 01720, Field Engineering, of the Specifications. <br />SC-5.03 SUBSURFACE AND PHYSICAL CONDITIONS <br />Delete Paragraphs 5.03.A and 5.03.B in their entirety and insert the following: <br />5.03.A. The following reports of explorations and tests of subsurface conditions at or contiguous to the Site are <br />known to Owner: <br />1. Soil borings and geotechnical reports: <br />a. Report dated January 14, 2016, prepared by Northern Technologies, Inc. entitled: <br />Geotechnical Exploration and Engineering Review. The "technical data" contained in <br />such report upon which Contractor may rely are those indicated in the definition of <br />Technical Data in the General Conditions. <br />b. The subsurface conditions and ground water levels (or lack thereof) indicated in any soil <br />boring log is only representative of the conditions present at the time the soil borings <br />were taken and at the location of the respective soil boring. The soil conditions can be <br />expected to vary in areas away from the soil boring locations and the ground water <br />levels can be expected to vary in different location and seasonally <br />5.03B. Copies of reports and drawings identified in SC-5.03 that are not included with the Bidding Documents <br />may be examined at 7533 Sunwood Drive NW, Suite 206, Ramsey, MN 55303, (763) 433-2851, fax (763)427-0833 <br />during regular business hours. <br />SC-5.06 HAZARDOUS ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS <br />Delete subparagraphs 5.06.A.1 and 5.06.A.2 in their entirety and insert the following: <br />5.06.A.
