<br />Councilmember LeTourneau introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #15-10-245 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR RESURFACING OF POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT GARAGE FLOORS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />this project is listed in the 2014 CIP for funding in the amount of $15,000.00; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEAREAS, <br />an invitation for quotations were mailed to two contractors; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the following is a summary of the quotes that were received: <br /> Contractor Total Quote <br /> SwedeBro Resurfacing $15,500.00 <br /> Additional Concrete Services, Inc. (ACS) $23,895.00 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />SwedeBro Resurfacing is the lowest responsible quote. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with SwedeBro Resurfacing in the amount of $15,500.00 for resurfacing the <br />police department garage floors. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kuzma, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Shryock <br /> Councilmember Williams <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
