CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, October 19, <br />2004, at the Ramsey Fire Station Number I, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br />Members Present: Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember Patti Kurak <br />Councilmember Al Pearson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br />Also Present: Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br />Assistant Director of Public Works Brian Olson <br />Associate Planner Geisler <br />Steve Schmidt, Developer of TSM Mini Storage <br />Residents and landowners concerning rental housing issues <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 7:40 p.m. <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to approve the agenda as <br />submitted. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Elvig, Kurak, Pearson, <br />Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br />1) Environmental Policy Task Force (EPTF) <br />Community Development Director Frolik indicated staff has been approached by Joe McDilda, <br />Chairperson of the Environmental Policy Task Force (EPTF), and the ETPF City Council <br />Liaison, Sarah Strommen, regarding the possibility of transitioning the EPTF into a permanent <br />City Council Work Session/October 19, 2004 <br />Page 1 of 7 <br />
