CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, October 26, 2004, at the <br />Ramsey Fire Station Number I, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember Patti Kurak <br />Councilmember Al Pearson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br />Members Absent: Councilmember David Elvig <br />Also Present: City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br />Assistant Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Assistant Community Development Director Patrick Trudgeon <br />Human Resources Manager Giovanni Reed <br />Finance Director Diana Lund <br />Police Chief James Way <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor- Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:00 p.m. and called <br />upon Scout Anthony Luchia of Troop 524 to lead in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />Anthony Luchia stated he is here for his Citizenship in Community Merit Badge. <br />PRESENTATION TO SWEAR IN NEW OFFICER NICHOLAS DAHLBERG <br />City Attorney Goodrich conducted the swearing in of Officer Nicholas Dahlberg. <br />PRESENTATION TO HAPPY DAYS COMMITTEE MEMBERS <br />Mayor Gamec presented members of the Happy Days Committee with a Certification of <br />Appreciation and expressed his thanks to all of the members for the outstanding job of working <br />on the Happy Days event. <br />City Council/October 26, 2004 <br />Page 2 of 15 <br />
