<br />Councilmember Johns introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #17-07-182 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT <br />PROJECT #17-10, PUMA STREET UTILITY EXTENSIONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />when Bunker Lake Boulevard was extended west of Armstrong Boulevard <br />in 2006, public utilities (sanitary sewer and watermain) were constructed to a point <br />approximately 2,650 feet west of Bunker Lake Boulevard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />public utilities were not constructed under the remaining section of Bunker <br />Lake Boulevard, east of its intersection with Puma Street, or under Puma Street north of Bunker <br />Lake Boulevard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />current and future development proposals in the Future Business Park area <br />will require public utilities to serve the developments; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the Riverstone Development proposes to construct numerous residential <br />properties in the fall of 2017 that will require utility services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />an Assessment Agreement exists to help pay for 40% of the project costs to <br />extend utilities along Puma Street. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />The City Administrator is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Bolton & Menk, <br /> <br />1) <br />Inc. to <br /> prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvements per the <br />proposal dated June 20, 2017. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />LeTourneau, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Shryok <br /> Councilmember Williams <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br />
