<br />Councilmember Kuzma introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # 17-07-162 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL COLE ADDITION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> Bryon and Lynn Cole, hereafter referred to as “Developer”, properly applied for <br />Preliminary Plat approval of the following described property located in the City of Ramsey: <br /> <br />Lot 1, Block 1, NOW AND THEN ESTATES, Anoka County, MN <br /> <br />AND <br /> <br />Outlots C and D, BROOKFIELD FIRST ADDITION, Anoka County, MN <br /> <br /> (the ‘Subject Property’); <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the City of Ramsey received a sketch plan for Cole Addition from Developer on <br />May 26, 2017; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> , the Planning Commission reviewed the sketch plan on June 12, 2017; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the Ramsey Environmental Policy Board (EPB) considered tree preservation, <br />landscape plan, and potential wetland impacts pertaining to the preliminary plat on June 19, 2017; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> on July 6, 2017, the Ramsey Planning Commission conducted a public hearing <br />regarding the proposed preliminary plat. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the City of Ramsey received an application for a variance to cul-de-sac size on July <br />12, 2017. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1)That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants preliminary plat approval of Cole Addition in <br />accordance with relevant City Codes, subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br /> <br />a)Compliance with City Staff Review Letter dated June 30, 2017. <br /> <br />b)The Developer entering into a Development Agreement with the City. <br /> <br />c)Approval of an easement vacation on the Subject Property. <br /> <br />d)Approval of a cul-de-sac width by the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Johns, <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> <br />
