Councilmember LeTourneau introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #17-07-161 RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL OF ESTATES OF SILVER ND OAKS 2 ADDITION WHEREAS, Royal Oaks Realty, hereafter referred to as “Developer”, properly applied for Preliminary Plat approval of the following described property located in the City of Ramsey: That part of the north half of the Northeast Quarter lying easterly of the east right of way line of Trunk Highway No. 47 described as follows; Commencing at the intersection with the north line of said Northeast Quarter and the center line of Trunk Highway No. 47 thence south 3 degrees 05 minutes east 540.55 feet thence south 01 degrees 52 minutes east along said center line 602.85 feet to the point of beginning of land to be described thence continue along said center line on a tangent curve to the left whose radius is 1038.81 feet 93.85 feet, thence south 85 degrees 12 minutes 47 seconds east 273.55 feet, thence south 20 degrees 12 minutes 47 seconds east to the intersection with the south line of the north half of the Northeast Quarter, thence east along said south line to the intersection with the southwest corner of Lot 1, Block nd 4 Barthel’s Rum River Acres 2 Addition thence north along the west line of said Lot 1, Block 4 360.10 feet thence north 85 degrees 38 minutes 25 seconds west 894.39 feet to the center line of said Trunk Highway No. 47 thence south along said center line to the point of beginning except the following described tract: Commencing at the southwest corner of Lot 1, Block 4 nd Barthel’s Rum River Acres 2 Addition thence north along the west line of said Lot 157.48 feet, thence north 85 degrees 38 minutes 25 seconds west 200 feet thence south 0 degrees 19 minutes west to south line of said north half, thence easterly along said south line to point of beginning, all in Section 14, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, except road, subject to easement of record. TOGETHER WITH Outlot A, ESATES OF SILVER OAKS ADDITION, Anoka County, Minnesota. (the ‘Subject Property’); WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received an application for sketch plan for Estates of Silver nd Oaks 2 Addition from Royal Oaks Realty on May 4, 2017; and WHEREAS , the Planning Commission reviewed the sketch plan on June 1, 2017; and WHEREAS , the City of Ramsey received an application for Preliminary Plat, Zoning nd Amendment, and Comprehensive Plan Amendment for Estates of Silver Oaks 2 Addition on June 1, 2017; and WHEREAS, the Ramsey Environmental Policy Board (EPB) considered tree preservation, landscape plan, and potential wetland impacts pertaining to the preliminary plat on June 19, 2017; and WHEREAS, on July 6, 2017, the Ramsey Planning Commission conducted a public hearing regarding the proposed preliminary plat.
