Mayor Strommen suggested that staff continue to explore discussions about a drop-off site for fall leaf clean-up. Councilmember Shryock stated that perhaps it would be helpful to advertise to residents the types of materials that can be disposed of at each site. 7.03: Consider Adoption of Resolution #17-07-176 Approving Tree Clearing and Grading Agreement for Bunker Lake Industrial Park; Case of PSD, LLC City Planner Anderson reviewed the staff report and recommendation to approve the Tree Clearing and Preliminary Grading Agreement, noting that the Planning Commission indicated general support through Sketch Plan Review on July 6, 2017. Councilmember Kuzma asked if there is a commitment to follow through with working with staff to plant additional trees. Jim Deal, PSD, thanked the Council for helping them expedite this as fast as they can. He stated that it is not very often that you can have a 60,000-square foot building occupied if you can have it operational by a deadline. He stated that they appreciate the cooperation of the Council and staff. He noted that they have an anchor renter and have had several other inquiries. He noted that the traffic that will come through the City for the sports facility will help to trickle business to other Ramsey businesses. Matt Kuker, PSD, stated that he is committed to working with staff to ensure that the planting plan will be sufficient. He noted that it would come down to tree inches and they will look for opportunities to put the tree inches back in as opportunity arises. He stated that they know what these first two buildings will look like and they will continue to look for opportunities as the park continues to build out. Motion by Councilmember Kuzma, seconded by Councilmember LeTourneau, to approve Tree Clearing and Grading Agreement for Bunker Lake Industrial Park. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Strommen, Councilmembers Kuzma, LeTourneau, Johns, Riley, Shryock, and Williams. Voting No: None. 7.04: Consider Adoption of Resolution #17-07-168 Ordering Feasibility Report for Improvement Project #18-00, Stanhope Terrace Street Reconstructions City Engineer Westby reviewed the staff report and recommendation to adopt Resolution #17- 07-168 ordering a Feasibility Report for Improvement Project #18-00, Stanhope Terrace Street Reconstructions. Councilmember Riley stated that he often walks this road and recognized the need for repair. He asked if the neighborhood to the south would be included, as that was discussed as a possibility at the Public Works Committee meeting. City Council / July 11, 2017 Page 6 of 9
