Bruce Westby, P.E. June 20, 2017 Page 2 of 2 CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE To facilitate construction of the public utilities in 2017, the project will be split into two bid packages. Generally, the first bid package will include: • Construction of trunk water main and sanitary sewer along Puma Street, • Construction of the sanitary sewer lift station, and • Temporary gravel resurfacing of Puma Street. This bid package will be prepared, bid, awarded and constructed in 2017. The second bid package will include roadway improvements. The preliminary design will be completed along with the first bid package to ensure the utilities are constructed to match future roadway grades. The remaining design, permitting, and State Aid approvals will then occur through the winter of 2017/2018. Bidding and award will occur early 2018, followed by construction in the spring and summer. SCHEDULE We understand the importance of delivering this project to allow for public utility construction to be completed in the fall of 2017.
