1. When Containers are delivered for the Single Sort Recycling Program, the <br />Contractor will include a printed flyer detailing and promoting the program. <br />2. The Contractor, in conjunction with City, will develop a promotional <br />program that includes a quarterly recycling participation contest and an <br />"opt -in" e-mail address database for those residents who want to be kept <br />informed on the latest recycling developments. <br />3. In order to help the City identify new recyclers, the Contractor will send a <br />monthly "Cart Delivered" report to the City. <br />4. All Containers delivered for recycling whave a printed education flyer <br />attached to the lid outlining the details© Recycling Program. <br />5. The Contractor will meet with the City at least once every quarter to discuss <br />and consider outreach and educatidiial information and materials to promote <br />recycling, target specific Recyclable -rials, and identify problem <br />materials that are not acce.table. <br />a. Working with the City to provide additional curbside pick-up services (e.g. <br />City-wide curbside appliance and/or electronics collection). <br />H. Notwithstanding any other term contained herein, the Contractor shall have no <br />obligation to collect any waste which is, or which the Contractor reasonably <br />believes to be, Excluded Waste. Title to and liability for any Excluded Waste shall <br />remain with resident/generator of such Excluded Waste, even if the Contractor <br />inadvertently collects and disposes of such Excluded Waste. If the Contractor finds <br />what reasonably appears to be discarded Excluded Waste, the Contractor shall <br />notify the resident/business/generator, if such can be determined, that the <br />Contractor may not lawfully collect such Excluded Waste and leave a tag <br />specifying the nearest location available for appropriate disposal. <br />3 <br />
