City of Ramsey <br />Attn: Tim Gladhill, Community Development Director <br />7550 Sunwood Dr NW <br />Ramsey, MN 55303 <br />Mr. Gladhill: <br />Per our previous discussions I am making the formal request for City <br />Council to defer the completion of the sidewalk to a later date. We have <br />discussed at length the complications of constructing the sidewalks prior to <br />the utility stubs being accessed to hook up to the homes. My contractors <br />have noted that there is no reasonable way to excavate that near to the <br />sidewalks without almost certain damage or collapse. Please see the <br />anticipated completion schedule that is submitted with this letter. <br />Additionally, per your suggestion, we request to extend the Developer <br />Agreement to be completed in Oct 2018. We are making good progress on <br />a lot of fronts, particularly with regard to the number of completed <br />structures we committed to by the end of this year, however this sidewalk <br />completion has added a level of complexity we did not foresee. <br />Sincerely, <br />Tom Purmort <br />Purmort Homes, Inc. <br />
