Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #17-09-233 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ABATEMENT OF PID #24-32-25-12-0022 FOR PAYABLE YEAR 2017 AND LEVYING THE CORRECT PID NUMBER OF 34-32-25-12- 0022 FOR PAYABLE YEAR 2017 WHEREAS, in November 2016, the City levied special assessments to the County for collection with the 2017 property taxes; and WHEREAS, during the certification of the assessments to the County, an incorrect PID number was entered: and WHEREAS, PID #24-32-25-12-0022 for taxes payable year 2017 needs to be abated and the correct PID number of #34-32-25-12-0022 in the same amount as the one abated for taxes payable 2017 needs to be added; and WHEREAS, the County requires an application for abatement to be submitted and a resolution passed before an error can be corrected or abated and the correct PID number charged. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the abatement of PID #24-32-25-12-0022 in the Amount of $125.02 for taxes payable 2017 that was levied in error and levy the correct PID Number of 34-32-25-12-0022 for $125.02 for taxes payable 2017. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 26th day of September, 2017.
