<br />Councilmember LeTourneau introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #17-09-235 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSED 2016, PAYABLE 2017 TAX LEVY AND <br />SCHEDULE BUDGET PUBLIC MEETING DATE <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the following proposed levies for certified 2016, payable 2017, be levied upon the <br />taxable property in said City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota for the <br />following purposes: <br /> <br />GENERAL LEVY <br /> <br /> Fund 101: General Fund - General Operations <br /> Fiscal Disparity Transfer - as estimated $ 1,484,000 <br /> Collected as Property Tax EDA Levy 103,981 <br /> Collected as Property Tax General Levy 7,911,242 <br /> <br /> $9,499,223 <br />DEBT SERVICE LEVY <br /> <br /> CIP Bond – Municipal Center 1,118,613 <br /> CIP Bond – Fire Station #2 224,248 <br /> 2013 Equipment Certificates 73,119 <br /> 2015 GO Road Improvement Bonds 116,663 <br /> 2014 Equipment Certificates 101,879 <br /> 2016 GO Road Improvement Bonds 146,571 <br /> 2017 GO Road Improvement Bonds 94,079 <br /> <br /> 1,875,172 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />TOTAL PROPOSED LEVIES <br /> $ 11,374,395 <br /> <br /> <br />2)That the City of Ramsey will not be levying the $337,929 related to the $3,090,000 GO <br />Refunding Bond, Series 2011B, as per Joint Powers Agreement with Anoka County. <br />Anoka County is required to pay directly to the City, this debt service amount. <br /> <br /> <br />3)That the City of Ramsey will not be levying the total $1,174,543 (105% of debt service) <br />related to the GO Capital Improvement Plan Refunding Bonds for the Municipal Center. <br />The City will levy at 100% of debt service or $1,118,613. <br /> <br /> <br />
