<br />Councilmember LeTourneau introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #17-09-222 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION HIRING A LEAD POLICE RECORDS TECHNICIAN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the current Lead Police Records Technician has been approved for promotion <br />to the Police Department Office Supervisor position effective October 1, 2017; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS <br />; Ms. Emmah Beardsley has been selected by staff to fill the Lead Police <br />Records Technician position; and <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> Ms. Beardsley successfully passed the City's pre-employment checks, <br />including: reference checks, background and driving record checks, and a pre-employment drug <br />screen; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />Staff recommends hiring Ms. Emmah Beardsley as the Police Department's <br /> <br />new Lead Police Records Technician effective on or near October 2, 2017, at step 1 of the 2017 <br />pay scale, which is $20.93 per hour. <br /> <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Therefore, the Ramsey City Council approves hiringMs. Emmah Beardsley as the Police <br /> <br />Department's new Lead Police Records Technician effective on or near October 2, 2017, <br /> <br />at step 1 of the 2017 pay scale which is $20.93 per hour. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Johns, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Williams <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
