Councihnember <br /> <br />introduced the foil°wing resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-11-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT-TO PEARSON BROS. INC FOR 2004 <br />PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE PROGRAM - DIVISION A <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May l l, 2004, the Ramsey City Council authorized plans and <br />specifications and advertisement for bids on 2004 Street Maintenance Program - Division A, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on June 8, 2004, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #04-06-146 <br />awarding the bid for 2004 Pavement Maintenance Prdgram - Division A to Pearson Brothers in <br />the amount of $176,353.25, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer, Steve lankowski has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends partial payment to Pearson Brothers, Inc., in the amount o£$176,353.25. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer, Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends final payment to Pearson Brothers, Inc., in the amount of $9,281.75. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE,. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Pearson Brothers, Inc. for <br />Improvement Project 2004 Street Maintenance Program - Division A in the amount of <br />$9,281.75. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the .Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of November 23, 2004. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br />The motion fbr the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />RES OLUTION #04-11-XXX <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
