CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, November 9, 2004, at the <br />Ramsey Fire Station Number I, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember Patti Kurak <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br />Assistant Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Assistant Community Development Director Patrick Trudgeon <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Police Chief James Way <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALl. TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:03 p.m. and called <br />upon Councilmember Kurak to lead in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION FOR RECOGNITION OF THE NATIONAL NIGHT OUT AWARD <br /> <br />Crime Prevention Specialist Kreyer announced this is the sixth year the City of Ramsey has <br />participated in National Night Out. The City has received an award for being 23rd in the nation in <br />their population category of 15,000 to almost 50,000. She thanked the Council for their support <br />with National Night Out, and thanked Councilmember Kurak for her extra efforts. She explained <br />Councihnember Kurak put together a fabulous video of the National Night Out events in the <br />City. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec thanked Crime Prevention Specialist Kreyer and the staff involved with National <br />Night Out. <br /> <br />City Council/November 9, 2004 <br /> Page 3 of 31 <br /> <br /> <br />
