<br />Councilmember Shryock introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #17-10-246 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONVEYANCE OF A PEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLE <br />TRAIL EASEMENT FROM ROYAL OAKS REALTY, INC. ACCROSS LOT 5, BLOCK <br />nd <br />2 ESTATES OF SILVER OAKS 2 ADDITION. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the City of Ramsey received an application for Sketch Plan for Estates of <br />nd <br />Silver Oaks 2 Addition from Royal Oaks Realty on May 4, 2017; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS <br />, the Planning Commission reviewed the Sketch Plan on June 1, 2017; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS <br />, the City of Ramsey received an application for Preliminary Plat, Zoning <br />nd <br />Amendment, and Comprehensive Plan Amendment for Estates of Silver Oaks 2 Addition on June <br />1, 2017; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the Ramsey Environmental Policy Board (EPB) considered tree preservation, <br />landscape plan, and potential wetland impacts pertaining to the preliminary plat on June 19, 2017; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />on July 6, 2017, the Ramsey Planning Commission conducted a public <br />hearing and recommended approval of the proposed Preliminary Plat, Zoning Amendment, and <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS <br />, on July 25, 2017, the City Council approved the Preliminary Plat, approved <br />the Comprehensive Plan Amendment contingent upon approval by the Metropolitan Council, and <br />introduced an Ordinance to rezone the Subject Property; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS <br />, on September 12, 2017, the City Council approved the Final Plat, approved <br />the Development Agreement, and adopted an Ordinance to rezone the Subject Property contingent <br />on submitting a Pedestrian and Bicycle Trail Easement; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS <br />, Royal Oaks Realty, Inc., the owner of Lot 5, Block 2 Estates of Silver Oaks <br />nd <br />2 Addition, has agreed to convey to the City of Ramsey a Pedestrian and Bicycle Trail Easement. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the acceptance of a Pedestrian and <br />Bicycle Trail Easement from Royal Oaks Realty, Inc. over a portion of Lot 5, Block 2 <br />nd <br />Estates of Silver Oaks 2 Addition. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Johns, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> <br />
