<br />Councilmember Shryock introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #17-10-255 <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTES AND AWARDING CONTRACT TO REPAIR <br />STORMWATER POND EROSION AT 7550 HIGHWAY 10 NW <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the City of Ramsey is responsible for maintaining the stormwater pond at <br />7550 Highway 10 NW; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />City staff requested quotes from three contractors to re-grade the pond to <br />repair erosion damage and establish turf on the side slopes of the pond to prevent future erosion <br />from occurring; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />quotes were received from three contractors and were found to comply with <br />the request for proposals; and <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the three quotes received are tabulated below; and <br /> <br />Contractor Total Quote <br />Reshetar Systems $33,250 <br />Kamke Contracting $33,350 <br />Douglas-Kerr Underground, LLC $47,325 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the quote of Reshetar Systems in the amount of $33,250 for the total quote <br />for said services is the lowest responsible quote and their quote shall be and hereby is accepted. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br /> <br />1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with Reshetar Systems for said services for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Johns, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember Shryock <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
