Mr. Hendriksen stated he wants to make sure there will be a public hearing and the opportunity <br />to petition against this if the City ever intends to assess anyone other than the petitioning <br />property owners. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated to the best of his ability the Charter will be complied with, as welt <br />as Chapter 429. to provide every citizen the benefits provided. <br /> <br />Mr. Hendriksen stated upon connection to urban services, assessments may be l~vied proyided it <br />is consistent with the original assessment. He thinks if there was not an original assessment the <br />City would not be able to assess unless they have gone through the petition process and opened it <br />up to anyone that would petition against this. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig~ seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to approve the agenda. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
