1965573 <br /> <br />Councilmember Cook introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # 04-08-227 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO <br />MARTIN AND RUTH MECHTEL TO EXCEED THE MAXIMUM SQUARE FOOTAGE <br />ALLOWED FOR ACCESSORY STRUCTURES BASED ON FINDINGS OF FACT #0692 <br />AND DECLARING TERMS OF SAME: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Martin and Ruth Mechtel (Permittees) have properly applied for a Conditional <br />Use Permit to exceed the maximum square footage allowed for accessory buildings for properties <br />between 14,880 square feet and 43,559 square feet as established in section 9.11.02 "Accessory <br />Uses" of City Code on the property generally known as 15235 Zuni Street NW and legally described <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 11, Block 2, Gorhams Sandy Acres Estates, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />(Subject Property) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on August 5, 2004, conducted the public <br />hearing and recommended City Council approval of the request; <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />Based on Findings of Fact #0692, a Conditional Use Permit (Permit) to exceed the maximum <br />allowable square footage for accessory building space on properties between 14,880 square feet <br />and 43,559 square feet in size is hereby granted to Martin and Ruth Mechtel, hereinafter referred <br />to as the "Permittees". <br /> <br />That the overall square footage for accessory buildings may exceed the 1,488 square foot <br />accessory building size restriction for properties between 14,880 square feet and 43,559 square <br />feet by a total of 192 feet in order to accommodate the inside storage of private-use equipment <br />and vehicles. <br /> <br />3. That the construction of the detached accessory building on the Subject Property shall require <br /> issuance of a building permit from the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />4. That the accessory building shall be properly constructed and maintained in accordance with all <br /> applicable International Building Codes. <br /> <br /> <br />
