Councilmember Hendriksen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #02-07-176 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A VARIANCE TO THE MINIMUM LOT SIZE IN THE R-1 RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT WHEP, EAS, Robert Longfield and Kim Longfield hereinafter referred to as "Applicants", has properly applied for a Board of Adjustment variance to the minimum lot size in the R-1 Residential District for the property generally located at 5751 1774 Ave. and legally described as follows: Lot 1, Block 1 Echo Ridge,"Anoka County, Minnesota (the "S ubj ect Property") WHEREAS, the City Council met on July 23, 2002 and adopted findings of fact relating to the request for a variance to the minimum lot size in the R-1 Residential District. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows ; Based on Findings of Fact #0624, a variance to the minimum lot size in the R-1 Residential District is hereby granted for the development of the Subject Property. 2. The variance allows for a lot of 2.08 acres to be created. The lot for which the variance has been granted to shall follow the subdivision process outlined in City Ordinances. City Staff shall review the plans for the moving of the septic system to ensure compliance with state and local codes. The Permittee shall be responsible for all City costs incurred in administering and enforcing this variance.
