CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Strommen called the regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at 7:00 p.m., <br /> followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Mayor Strommen. <br /> 2. PRESENTATION <br /> 2.01: Presentation by Metropolitan Council <br /> Mayor Strommen stated that prior to the regular meeting tonight, the Council met with City staff <br /> and representatives from the Metropolitan Council to tour some of the development sites within <br /> Ramsey. She then provided the opportunity for the guests from the Met Council to introduce <br /> themselves. <br /> Metropolitan Council Chair Alene Tchourumoff thanked Mayor Strommen for the opportunity to <br /> be with the Council tonight and tour the City. She stated that she has been touring the seven- <br /> county metro region in the past 11 weeks since she became the Chair of the Met Council. She <br /> stated that she found it helpful to see some of the features within Ramsey and the development <br /> sites and priorities. She provided background information on her career and experience with rail <br /> City Council/October 10, 2017 <br /> Page 2 of 14 <br />
