Councilmember Riley asked if the developer would like an opportunity to speak about the <br /> project. <br /> Jim Deal, PSD, stated that there is a lot of action in Ramsey and PSD isreceiving a lot of <br /> inquiries for development, which is exciting. He stated that the biggest challenge in Ramsey is <br /> transportation and hopes that remains a priority for not only the City but also the Metropolitan <br /> Council. He appreciated the cooperation of staff which has allowed PSD to keep the project <br /> schedule on pace. He stated that the City must have adequate staff in place in order to keep up <br /> with the development opportunities that continue to come and urged the City to keep an eye on <br /> the future in terms of being able to support development. <br /> Matt Kuker stated that they are very excited and advised that the mass grading is primarily <br /> completed. He stated that Adrenaline Sports is very excited and continues to gather new <br /> contracts with other sports groups. He stated that staff has been great in attempting to help the <br /> project remain on schedule. He stated that the project will be visible from Highway 10 and they <br /> are excited for the project to continue to move forward. <br /> Mayor Strommen stated that this project is very exciting. She noted that earlier on the tour <br /> tonight a Met Council representative noted the high level of development compared to previous <br /> tours he has participated in. <br /> Mr. Kuker noted that during the mass grading they attempted to prepare a third site for the future <br /> as well. <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau stated that it is very exciting to have a project like this in the <br /> community, noting that this is a project that will help put the City on the map. He acknowledged <br /> the staff and developer for the ability to work together to meet the timeline for the project. He <br /> stated that as this continues to move forward, he would like to see it as a high priority in order <br /> for this to move forward on schedule. He stated that if there is anything the Council can do to <br /> supply the necessary resources, staff should come to the Council. <br /> Motion by Councilmember LeTourneau, seconded by Councilmember Kuzma, to Adopt <br /> Resolution #17-10-256 Granting Development Agreement Approval of Bunker Lake Industrial <br /> Park, Release from Development Agreement for Alpha Development, and Release from <br /> Assessment Agreement. <br /> Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Strommen, Councilmembers LeTourneau, Kuzma, Johns, <br /> Riley, and Shryock. Voting No: None. <br /> 7.05: Approve Development Agreement for Greenway Terrace (Project 16-84); Case of <br /> AEON, LLC <br /> Community Development Director Gladhill reviewed the staff report and recommendation to <br /> adopt the resolution approving the Development Agreement for Greenway Terrace. <br /> City Council/October 10,2017 <br /> Page 8 of 14 <br />
