A draft of a new <br />plan has been completed and a public hearing set for 7 p.m. <br />June 26 in the Metropolitan Council Chambers, 300 Metro Square <br />Building, 7th and Robert Sts., St. Paul. <br /> <br />Three informational meetings will be held before the hearing to <br />explain the proposed changes to the Development Guide-Policy Plan <br />and answer questions. The plan establishes the framework <br />within which the Council and local units of government work <br />together in providing regional recreation facilities. <br /> <br />The plan calls for 52 regional parks and park reserves, two special <br />use sites and a network of trails.
