I I I I I I I I I I I CASE REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A HOME OCCUPATION; CASE OF PEGGY FRITCH By: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik Background: Peggy Friteh of 15141 Oneida Street N.W. has applied for a conditional use permit for a home occupation. ~ Peggy would like to establish and operate a one-chair beauty salon operation in the lower level of her home. The following items are enclosed for your information: a) b) e) d) ~) Sit~ location map Site plan Floor plan Letter from Homeowner's Association Proposed findings of fact Proposed conditional use permit ObservatiOns: In accordance with the City's regulations for home occupations, the area devoted to the business would not eaceed 20% of the total floor area of the home. The employees would be restricted to the residents of the home. The driveway is large enough to provide a sufficient amount of off- street parking for a one-chair operation. Also in accordance with Section 9.11.04 (Home Occupations) of the Ramsey City Code, if granted, the permit would not be transferrable tom person to person or property to property. The Homeowners Association for River Bluffs has provided the City with written comments indicating no opposition to the applicant's request. Recommendation: City Staff recommends approval of the request. Commission Action: Motion to: Recommend that City Council adopt Resolution ~)3-06- adopting Findings of Fact # relating to a request for a home occupation permit at 15141 Oneida Street N.W. Motion to: Recommend that City Council adopt Resolution ~93-06- approving the issuance of a conditional use permit for a home occupation at 15141 Oneida Street N.W.
