BUSINESS EXPO 1996 <br />By: James D. Gromberg, Economic Development Coordinator <br /> <br />CASE #1 <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The Ramsey Lions conducted their first informational meeting concerning this years Community <br />Picnic on Marcti 7, 1996. Mr. Stafki has attended this meeting and will be providing a report at <br />this evenings meeting. <br /> <br />The commissio9 representatives appeared before the Ramsey City Council on Tuesday March <br />12, 1996. It is anticipated that they will receive the $2,000 donation for this event from the City <br />Council at that time. If this should not be the case, then the commission will need to evaluate <br />whether this event should take place. <br /> <br />At this evenings imeeting the commission should also review the proposed brochure for the event <br />prior to its mailing and make any recommendations for changes to the layout. <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br /> <br />Based upon discussion, the Economic Development Commission recommends the printing of the <br />brochure for the ! 996 Business EXPO and mailing as early as possible.
