Absent: Councilmember Elvig. <br /> <br />Case #2: Request for a Home Occupation Permit: Case of Chad and Lisa Lindgren <br /> <br />Assistant Comnmnity Development Director Trudgeon indicated the applicants have applied for <br />a home occupation permit to establish a one-chair hair salon in their home, located at 5561 145th <br />Circle NW. City Code restricts home occupations to 20 percent of the gross floor area of the <br />home. Mrs. Lindgren will be the sole employee. Proposed operating hours are Tuesdays 3:00 <br />p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesdays 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursdays 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and <br />Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. There will be few if any deliveries to the site and client <br />parlcing can be accommodated in the applicants' driveway. The applicants expect to receive <br />approximately 8-24 clients per week. The Planning Commission held a public hearing and <br />recomme~ded approval of the request. In the past, the City has issued several similar home <br />occupation permits. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Strommen, seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman, to adopt <br />Resolution #04-10-323 adopting Findings of Fact #0703 relating to Chad and Lisa Lindgren's <br />request for a home occupation permit. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Absent: Councilmember Elvig. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Strommen, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to adopt <br />Resolution #04-10-324 approving Chad and Lisa Lindgren's request for a home occupation <br />permit based on the findings of fact. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
